Happy New Ideas!

So I’m back betches! And mama has some big plans for the new year! Of course I have all of the same resolutions as everyone else…lose weight, get healthy, wake up earlier, be kinder, volunteer, clean more, get out of debt and save money. However, I’ve decided not to declare any of those things. Instead I’ve decided to focus my energy on something that I’ve been thinking about for awhile. This year my goal is to complete 1 project per week. Hence the brilliant title Project 52! Ok it’s not brilliant but whatevs. What makes me declare such an ambitious thing? I’m so glad you asked! I have so many ideas that I don’t take the time to actually sit down and complete. Then the ideas are just left swimming around in my head, being sad and uncreated. They want to be created and I’m just the girl to do it. Also I’m tired of saying to myself I can make that! So this year I’m putting my money where my mouth is and doing it!

Fall Flowers

Last weekend I whipped up some cute hair clips with my sister. They’re layered with fabric, tulle, feathers and gems! After we created each one we’d have a new favorite! They are a so cute pinned to a low bun or pinned to your cardigan. I almost can’t part with them. But for you my good friend, I will. What girl doesn’t love flowers? Feather Headbands!

Happy Friday! Last weekend I went to the Shakopee Pow Wow with my family. I love going, the dancing, the music, the food, the family and the costumes! The amazing costumes! Beads, feathers and neon oh my! I’ve been wanting to do accessories with feathers forever and seeing all the great feather details in the costumes sparked the inspiration for these head bands. I think they’d be so adorable for a wedding! My girls love them and I’m sure Gabby will rock a different color every day. She’s fancy like that.

Happy Anniversary

Yesterday was our 4th anniversary. I was sick yesterday and not able to post anything. So this is our belated anniversary post so move over Will and Kate! 4 years ago I married my best friend in Mexico and happy to say that we’ve been together 11 years. We were just kids when we met and now 3 kids, 2 cats and 1 dog later here we are! I love you and this was the best day ever.
